My name is Rhys Coren and I am an artist living and working in the UK and I also love football.
I am scouring YouTube for footage, of any quality, from anyone, of people attempting to emulate the great René Higuita.
I want to collate all the René footage I can, along with any other René related news or photos, in order to make a new piece of art. I guess how this bit of art ends up will be dictated by the possible future of this blog and the René fans who surface.
I originally advertised the blog by sending an email with the blog address to all the contacts in my email addressbook. I hope that this project will continue to grow as others pass the information on too.
As the blog grows, I will endeavour to update this blog with any links sent and will also continue to blog any videos/photos of the acrobatic goal keeper as inspiration.
